Got the collars this week and am absolutely loving them. Very well made and looks stunning on our dogs.

I have a high energy hunting dog and we spend a lot of time in the woods. The first collar I got from Backwoods Dog had a problem with the latch, but the responsiveness was fantastic and a replacement collar was on the way (even with the Canada Post strike). As I often say to people, every manufacturer, large and small, occasionally has product problems. They are a fact of life. The thing that separates the great companies from the ordinary are the ones that take action and stand behind what they do. Thank you Backwoods Dog. The dog collar we ordered was red to match our dog’s harness. It look great and is very durable. The brass buckles are classy. It is waterproof so that’s a plus. We were satisfied with the online ordering process and were happy that we were contacted when the sellers had a question about our order. We’re very satisfied.

other things I love: The 20 foot leash can be dragged through the river and mud with no concerns and is very light (very, very light) and almost tangle free and
reels in effortlessly. Also easily able to grab the traffic loop as my dog jumps 6

Our 3 yr old lab loves to swim in the lake which is almost daily. Had this for 3 weeks now and it is great. Dries quickly and no stink! Yet. Is is heavier than other harnesses, but that does seem to deter our dog. If it stands up to the test of time, it will be worth the $$.
