I ordered two collars and not only did they arrive quickly, but they are high quality and beautiful. I love the option of choosing two colours for the collar and the brass buckle is sturdy and a nice detail. My dog's neck was in between two sizes and when I messaged the owners, they made a custom size with no extra charge. Very impressed with this Canadian company and will be purchasing again!

I bought a collar and matching leash for our pup for Christmas. We live at the beach so he's wet and sandy, so I wanted something that is waterproof but still looks good. It's perfect!

We are so delighted with our Biothane brass buckle collar - the quality is exceptional, I was not expecting such a gorgeous product for the price (I know how expensive quality hardware is!)
The colour selection is so vast it was really difficult to choose.
When I reached out to customer service for assistance with sizing they were prompt, friendly and more than willing to help out, which I appreciated.
Unfortunately the sizing was still off for us - I realize in hindsight that I measured around my puppy's neck too gently (saggy, wrinkly bulldog) but should have measured more firmly (squishing the excess skin) to get a closer fit. The collar we chose ended up being too big but it was easy enough to use a leather punch to add an extra hole, and I used a sharp blade to cut off the excess collar overhang that was flapping around. Because of the Biothane material the areas we cut haven't frayed at all (and I don't think they will).
I am really pleased to report that the collar genuinely does not stink, even though we have put it through hell already! I look forward to seeing how it holds up over time - it seems very durable and well made.
I would recommend these collars to friends and family and plan to buy another colour just for fun!

other things I love: The 20 foot leash can be dragged through the river and mud with no concerns and is very light (very, very light) and almost tangle free and
reels in effortlessly. Also easily able to grab the traffic loop as my dog jumps 6

What a purchase!! These collars are every bit amazing as they seem, and supporting a local Canadian business? YES PLEASE! My dogs have never looked better and these collars are so durable! Outstanding quality, I can't recommend these enough!

I bought two collars for my dogs (a martingale and a flat collar). The quality is great and they look very good. I wanted to get this buckle style because my big german shepherd kept breaking his collars with the plastic clasp- these seem to be pretty strong and he hasn’t broken it. If anything, I’d say the flat collar is just a little heavy and I did worry about putting it on my little beagle, but so far it seems okay.

The collars look great too- I’ve actually had people comment on them and ask me where I got them.

Also, the customer service is top notch.

I purchased this collar because our previous collar was a vegan leather from a different distributer and we loved it.

This new collar has the same great vegan leather. It dries quickly, cleans easily, and doesn’t smell.

The colour is very different than what we saw in the photo. The pink is more of a fluorescent than I expected. I still like it though.

The brass buckle is MUCH heavier than our previous collar. I really don’t like how heavy it is.

We have decided to keep the collar, but we wouldn’t buy it again because of the weight of the buckle

Absolutely in love with it! So light weight, easy to clean, the large brass buckle allows easy on and off! And so in love with the colour!
