HOW TO MEASURE:

The martingale collar is a slip-on collar, so it must be able to fit over your dog's head.

  • Measure around the widest girth of your dog's head, including the ears.
  • Measure the smallest part of the neck behind the ears.
  • Then measure snuggly around the neck where you want the collar to sit.
  • Choose the largest measurement between these 3 points to get the most accurate collar size.
  • Sizes range by 3".


Care instructions:

BioThane is extremely easy to care for. Simply wipe away dirt with a cloth or wash with soap and water. To disinfect, dab with a small amount of rubbing alcohol. Keep away from extreme heat or fire.

BioThane is a polyester webbing with a PVC coating that makes it more durable, waterproof, easy to clean, and is made in the U.S.A.

Great product!

I ordered 3 collars from Backwoods after searching pet stores and being unable to find anything even close to what I was looking for. I finally came across Backwoods Dogs when I searched for waterproof martingale collar. They were shipped out the day after I ordered and I’m so impressed with these from a Canadian store. Nothing in a pet store even compares to these and for the same or better price! I’d highly recommend these to anyone looking for a dog collar, I would give it 5+ stars! Avoid the pet store and purchase for Backwoods for a durable and well made collar. I’m very happy with all 3. (2x 1 inch Large martingale with chain, 1x 5/8 inch Small quick release).
