SIZING

How to measure

Classic Buckle Collar

Use a fabric tape measure and securely measure the size of your dog's neck circumference where the collar will most likely comfortably sit.

An ideal fit should see your dog's size in inches sit in the middle hole. If the size is just at the smallest or largest fitting, size down or up accordingly.

In our experience, most people tend to measure larger than the size of their dog's neck possibly by using the "two fingers" rule of thumb and due to excess fur. A proper fitting collar should not be too lose as this can pose a greater risk of your dog snagging on objects or losing their collar.

Measure an existing collar: Lay the collar your dog typically wears flat and measure from the tongue of the buckle to the adjustment hole that is used most. DON'T measure the entire length of the collar (including the excess material beyond the holes) as this will give us an inaccurate size (and will be way too large for your dog).

Quick-Release Collar

Use a fabric tape measure and securely measure the size of your dog's neck circumference where the collar will most likely comfortably sit.

Our quick-release collars provide the most size range of adjustment, especially within the larger sizes.

Martingale Collar

All our martingale collars are fully adjustable. We recommend martingales for dogs with a 13" neck and up. Smaller dogs, due to the tendency to have a weaker trachea, should avoid using martingale collars.

Our sizing guidelines depend on the type of martingale:

For Adjustable (standard) Martingales, please refer to Quick Release Collar measuring guidelines.

For Buckle Martingales, please refer to Classic Buckle Collar measuring guidelines.

Harness

Use a fabric tape measure and securely measure the size of your dog's chest circumference. Our harnesses will accommodate chest sizes between 19" - 38". See our size chart below.

Our harnesses are made for medium to large size dogs. Unfortunately, we do not offer small dog harnesses at this time.

Hands Free Leash

Our hands free leashes come in 3 sizes: 6-foot, 7-foot, and 8-foot lengths. When sizing for a hands free leash, consider the height and size of the person wearing the leash, as well as the walking style of the dog (if your dog walks at a heel, or out front).
